The G2 Pant has long been a favourite amongst our team of climbers and mountaineers, offering a combination of Soft Shell comfort and flexibility with high levels of weather protection. From Piolet d’Or winning first ascents in the Himalaya, to the summit of Cerro Torre, Alpine classics and Scottish mixed test pieces, they’ve seen it all.

Now completely updated, the G2's have taken a huge step forward. Stretchier, more weatherproof and better fitting, they’re the definitive choice for ice and mixed climbing as well as everything from moderate mountaineering to the hardest alpine climbing at altitude.

The Exolite XP fabric is durably weather-resistant, and key seams are taped to increase protection even further, both from wind and water ingress. It’s comfortable to wear either next to the skin or over a base layer in cold conditions.

Zip-out internal gaiters give an extra seal whilst post-holing through fresh snow, and there are 500D polyamide reinforced kick strips to limit crampon scrapes. The adjustable waistband sits flat under a harness and provides rapid fine-tuning as you change layers after a long approach.

For the wettest and worst days in winter, we’ll still reach for our hard shell Tupilak Pants, but for everything else, G2’s are the best there is.
